The Sutra app

What the app does

It is a companion to a membership at the club — not a standalone fitness app, and not a shop. Once your membership is active you can:

• Have your attendance marked automatically when you arrive at the club, so nobody has to sign a register.
• Book amenity sessions — sauna, cold plunge, recovery and whatever else is on the timetable that week.
• Book boxing sessions with a coach.
• Follow the training programme your coach has put you on, day by day.
• Log your bodyweight and see it against the target you set.
• See club notices, offers and event invitations, and reply to the ones that ask a question.

Getting an account

You sign up inside the app with your name, your email address or mobile number, and a password. Staff at the club then check the registration against the membership list and approve it. Until that happens the app will tell you it is waiting.

Memberships, personal training and session packs are bought at the club. The app takes no payments and holds no card details.

Common problems

My attendance was not marked

The app only checks where you are while it is open and in front of you, so open it once you are inside the building. If it still does not mark, the usual causes are location permission being off for Sutra in iOS Settings, or a GPS fix too vague to trust — which happens deep inside concrete. Front desk staff can mark the day for you.

I forgot my password

Ask at the front desk, or email us. Staff can set a new password on your account; we cannot read your old one, because we never store it.

A booking I made has disappeared

Sessions are sometimes cancelled or moved by the club — a coach is away, a machine is down. If a booking vanished without a notice explaining it, email us and we will find out what happened.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, under Profile. It removes your login, your profile details, your attendance history, your bookings and your weight log. It cannot be undone, and it does not by itself end your gym membership — that is a separate conversation with the club.

Requirements

An iPhone running a current version of iOS, an internet connection, and an approved Sutra Hybrid Club membership. Location permission is optional: without it everything works except the automatic attendance marking.
