The agreement between you and Sutra Hybrid Club for the use of the Sutra app. Short, and meant to be read.
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms apply to the Sutra iPhone app, published by Sutra Hybrid Club of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Creating an account or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app — your gym membership is unaffected either way.
The app is a companion to a membership at the club. It is not the membership itself. What you pay, what your plan includes and how it ends are governed by the agreement you signed at the club, and that agreement wins wherever the two appear to disagree.
The app can mark a day as attended when it sees you are at the club. This is a convenience, not an official record and not a turnstile.
5. Training and your health
The programmes, exercises and figures in the app are general fitness guidance from the club's coaches. They are not medical advice and no doctor has reviewed them for you.
Talk to a qualified medical professional before starting or changing how you train, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from illness or managing a condition. Work within what your body can do on the day, stop if something hurts, and ask a coach if you are unsure of a movement.
Exercise carries a genuine risk of injury. You train at your own risk, in the app's programmes as much as anywhere else.
The app sells nothing. There are no purchases inside it, no subscriptions and no card details. Memberships, personal training and session packs are bought at the club and recorded in the app by staff afterwards. Prices shown in the app are for information, and the price quoted at the club is the one that counts.
Please do not:
The app, its design, and the club's programmes, images and written content are ours. You may use them as a member, personally and non-commercially. You may not republish or resell them.
What you put in — your profile, your weights, your bookings — stays yours. We hold it to run your membership, on the terms set out in the privacy policy.
We run the app on our own budget and cannot promise it will be up at all times. It may go down, break, or change; features may be added or dropped. We will avoid losing your data, but the club's own records — not the app — are the authority on your membership, your attendance and your bookings.
You can stop using the app whenever you like, and delete your account from inside it under Profile. Deleting the account does not cancel your gym membership or refund anything.
We may suspend or close an app account if the membership behind it ends, if these terms are broken, or if an account is being used to abuse the service or other members. Where it is not obviously serious, we will ask you about it first.
The app is provided as it is. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it — a booking that did not save, an attendance day that did not mark, a session you missed because a notice did not arrive.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 stand whatever this page says.
We may update these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and anything significant will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
